Due Date of IT Return filings for FY 2020-21 has been extedded to 30th November, 2020

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday announced that the due date for filing income tax returns (ITR) has been extended from July 31 to November 30,2020 for the Assessment Year 2020-21. Similarly, Tax Audit due date is extended to October 31, 2020. Sitharaman announced the TDS rates for all non-salaried payment to residents, and tax collected at source rate will be reduced by 25 percent of the specified rates for the remaining period of FY 2020-21.
